Types of Licenses:

According to the Telecommunication Act 2001 and the Telecommunication General By Laws 2002, licenses are issued according to the following types:-

·        a licence agreement

·        a license certificate

·        a permit

Such licences are issued in the following areas:-

Public Telecommunication Networks

Private Telecommunication Networks

Importing and Marketing of Telecommunication System, Equipment and Materials

Assembly  and Manufacture  of Telecommunication Systems and Materials
